Good pay. Good holiday allowance. Generous pension contributions and other perks. Generally speaking, alot of nice local people on site.
Cons
No career progression. Bottle neck for talent. Top heavy company structure with too much senior management, particularly dominated by white middle aged males. Boring, uninspiring products and work. Very old fashioned work environment which is 'stuck in the past'. Company claims to be 'Green', 'Sustainable', 'Make products for a cleaner, safer world' when in fact they manufacture products which are used in the petrochemical industry from the production of huge volumes of plastics to the cracking of crude oil. Wouldn't recommend it for aspiring and keen scientists, don't be tempted by the generous package offered by the company.
