Pros

This is a fantastic company to work for. The people are personable and always eager to help. There is a lot of trust placed in individual employees to do their work as they see fit. There are also many different ways to contribute to the company's success. Finally, the company is committed to each individual employee flourishing in their role.

Cons

There aren't many team-building activities and we don't hear enough updates on the company's performance during a particular period of time.

Pros

Really good people who care about the work and customers. If I had to describe the environment here in one word, I would say "INTEGRITY". Awesome San Francisco location, interesting and growing field and fair pay. Plenty of opportunity for personal and career growth...it's pretty common and part of the culture for people to make both vertical and lateral moves within the company as well as take on independent projects that they are interested in.

Cons

Lack of day-to-day management - good for those who prefer to be self managed, not so good for those who want more guidance and hand holding.

Pros

Great attention to work/life balance, tolerant towards working remotely/telecommuting. Small office lets you get things done very quickly (very easy to go to the person who knows the answer to your problem). Company is very encouraging of proactive employees who have their own independent ideas for how to improve things. Company is growing in a newly-hot space and business is good. Great location near Montgomery BART.

Cons

Personal growth can feel a little stunted due to the small size of the company. Can get hectic at times - you might be doing 20 things but only getting paid for one. Management feels sales-oriented and overpromises to potentials, engineers are too few and overloaded. Benefits so-so, no 401k matching and must use PTO for sick days.
