Pros

Truly talented individuals, good benefits

Cons

Pantheon's got some seriously sharp people, no doubt. But the whole vibe under the new leadership is a mess. Honestly, layoffs again? That was a red flag. The company has turned very top down. The CEO calls himself the 'Indian Nerd', which doesn't translate to open communication. It's more like, 'Do what I say, no questions'. After 2 rounds of layoffs since the beginning of the year, it's a fear factory over here. Nobody is going to speak their mind in this environment. There's the whole 'bro' thing in sales. It feels like a boys' club, and if you're not part of the cabal, you're basically on the outside. It was really awkward to see the CEO asking everyone to chant in an all company meeting for the return of a previous sales leader. There hasn't been any announcement on strategy or direction, just a lot of hot air. We were also told there will be no raises or bonuses. The leadership needs to get their act together instead of firing more people. They got to create a culture where people aren't afraid to speak up, and actually have a vision. They need to stop with the favoritism and make it inclusive. Basically, they need to treat people like adults, not scared kids. Bottom line, they need to fix the place, or it's gonna keep bleeding talent.

Pros

Lots of great people, both new and tenured. New leadership seems generally great. Strong customer base that loves the product. The new CEO is setting a high bar and shows real belief in both the business and the individuals at the company. It's an exciting time to see the opportunity and have a leader that is giving the resources the make a leap forward.

Cons

There are areas of the organization that are still stabilizing after so many leadership changes over the past year. It seems the new leadership is capable, but it will take time for the culture and trust to follow. A lot of technical debt exists, but thankfully there are lots of engineers that understand how to eliminate now. They need a chance to make this happen though.

Pros

Some nice people, and the product has a good reputation in the industry

Cons

Where to start... Once again, a new leadership team has replaced the old set of managers with new ones, and I'm surprised they found an even worse set of sycophantic, incurious performers. The people team are already posting fake reviews on Glassdoor again. Product has no clue what they are doing or why the competition is passing us. Marketing sends us AI slop and expects us to use it. I'm hoping we get sold to a company that puts real leaders in place instead of the constant stream of amateurs who know nothing about Saas.
