Pros

The office environment is more lively and casual compared to a typical corporate setting.

Cons

The work environment is dominated by toxic positivity, founders are constantly hyping up how great the company is doing and expect employees to mirror that energy, which isn’t realistic. There is little to no diversity, and racial bias is a serious concern. Departments aren’t clearly defined; for example, the finance manager is expected to handle HR, sales, and marketing simultaneously. Feedback is not welcomed; leadership often reacts negatively to questions or suggestions. Growth opportunities are almost nonexistent, and many employees appear to be retained more for personal connections with the founders than merit. While not every individual in the company is difficult, the culture set by leadership makes it hard to thrive. As other reviews point out, it’s strange to see “no cons” listed repeatedly, clearly not the reality.

Pros

PerfectTed is one of those rare places where the energy you see on the brand's social is actually what it feels like to walk into the office. The team is tight-knit, driven, and genuinely passionate about what we are building. The founders are hands-on in the best way. They care about the people they hire, they move fast, and they trust you to get on with your work. If you want a role where you can actually own something and see your fingerprints on the business, this is it. I've built things from scratch that I wouldn't have had the opportunity to touch anywhere else at this stage of my career. The culture is real - a company that walks the walk on its values, and colleagues who actually show up for each other. Growth is rapid and the ambition is infectious. It pushes you to be better.

Cons

It's a scale-up, which means things move quickly and can sometimes feel stretched. Processes are still being built, and if you need a fully structured, hand-holding environment, this probably isn't for you. But if you're energised by that kind of pace, the lack of bureaucracy is a feature, not a con.

Pros

Fun brand, genuine energy Good office in solid location Some talented, passionate people in the team

Cons

Firstly, look at the ‘5 star reviews’ below… a lot are all posted within 24 hours of each other. That’s no coincidence - it tells you everything you need to know about how leadership operates here. The founders seem to run the business on vibes and vanity. Decisions get made because they want to, nor was there any sort of data or insight-led marketing strategy. For a business loudly chasing a $1 bn valuation, the strategic rigour you’d expect is nowhere to be seen. Culture is aggressively positive on the surface but it’s basically a clique with a brand attached. Disagree or not fit the mould and you’ll find out pretty quickly how thin that positivity actually is. Leadership is obsessed with their own public profiles yet somehow comes across as neither genuine nor particularly likeable in person, despite people literally employed to manage this. Overall, the gap between persona and reality is pretty significant
