Good company - Employee PermaTherm Employee Review

PermaTherm has been a great opportunity for my growth. I have been able to learn and grow in areas I would never have the chance if it were a larger corporation. This is a family owned business, and they treat their employees well.

There are times where we have to be 'self-starters' as we have a smaller work staff, but I've always had support throughout.

The company purports a great company culture and inclusive environment. The wives of top management are heavily involved in trying to shape company culture. You will learn a lot by experience and self education.

Senior management provides little to no direction. Performance reviews are something they do not believe in as well as having an HR manager or director. I heard the CEO state more than once, “If you have an HR department, you invite HR problems”. Senior management doesn’t believe in work/life balance . There are no career advancement opportunities.
