Pros

Actionable feedback culture: I’ve been with PetRelocation since 2014 and have watched leadership shift from just collecting suggestions to acting on them. Flag a bottleneck and it’s most often fixed or funded quickly. That keeps “fire drills” to a minimum and lets us spend brainpower on pet welfare, complicated logistics, and strong client relationships. Better tools, less busywork: New Salesforce flows and automated email triggers have cut a lot of manual clicks. Critical-thinking environment: We’re trusted to solve edge cases rather than follow a script; missteps turn into shared lessons, not blame. The people who thrive here are positive, ego-free problem-solvers. There is a lot of autonomy, but requires a responsible work ethic. Benefits: working from home, flexible schedule, unlimited PTO, non-micromanagement culture.

Cons

Regulations change constantly, so comfort with ambiguity is a must. Documentation can lag behind new processes; you’ll sometimes write your own quick reference. Pet shipping can be stressful, but the systems we’ve built keep the chaos manageable.

Pros

If you're someone who wants to learn fast, wear a lot of hats, and actually make an impact, this is the place. You can pretty much try anything (marketing, training, operations, accounting, project management, etc.) and if you see something that could be better, you’re empowered to change it. It’s a fantastic resume builder because the scope of what you’ll touch is huge, and you’re trusted to take ownership. The work itself is also meaningful. We’re not just moving pets... we’re helping families, and that’s something clients never forget. It’s complex and emotional, but when it goes well, it’s incredibly rewarding. And honestly, most clients are awesome... smart, adventurous, interesting, kind, and fun to work with. You get to talk to people all day about their furry family members and learn more about all these different international places. It's really not that serious, and that kind of mindset helps keep it fun even when it's busy. Flexibility is also a big perk. As long as you’re organized and communicate well, you can structure your days in a way that works for you. And bonus money is very attainable every quarter, not just pie in the sky, but it IS a hustle!

Cons

The work can be intense and nonstop. Time zones, government agencies, emotional clients, tight deadlines... there are definitely weeks that feel like a sprint. If you need a super structured 9–5 or struggle with uncertainty, this may not be your vibe. It's definitely not the right fit for everyone.
