Pros
Direct colleagues on team were generally knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Lots of opportunities for giving input in processes. Interesting and fairly stimulating work. Collaborative and laid-back work environment (if management allows for it). Good work-life balance.
Cons
While the regular teammates were generally good to work with, management proved to be shady and corrupt. If a manager doesn't like you for whatever reason (including racial discrimination), they get full support from HR and upper management to undermine you by setting you up to fail and creating a hostile work environment with the goal of ultimately pushing you out. Manager often said one thing and would do something else, would ask leading questions with the goal of creating a paper trail and painting a false and defamatory narrative. Pay was low relative to industry standards. Benefits package could have been better.
