Great studio, bad company - 3D Artist PixelPool Employee Review

Very well managed company with great culture and excellent benefits. Portland studio is a small tight group who work hard but know how to have fun. Creative work is diverse and challenging.

Hours can be long sometimes and job can be very demanding.

Interesting projects, cutting edge product; awesome people, both globally & locally... Team really works as a team; people tend to pitch in and help, rather than leave the office, until everyone is done for the day (this is both a pro & a con).

PixelPool is a finely tuned, well-oiled machine with regard production, services, & all directly related matters. Most aspects of this company which aren't directly tied to projects, however, have room for improvement. HR resources are limited.
