Pros

The support mechanism within the company is clear, as a relatively new employee to the business it is clear to me that there is a sense of togetherness and an open door policy in place across the Senior Management team. I firmly believe with the changes currently being applied to the marketing and operating models Plan-Net will continue to grow and become a recognised provider of Managed Services. It’s clear that as a business there is a desire to upskill and train the current employees, promoting from within where appropriate to do so prior to looking at the open market – This is a real opportunity to demonstrate your skills and experience in an environment whereby this will be not just recognised, but appreciated and where appropriate awarded accordingly. We have a fast growing operation which has recently opened in Milton Keynes, expanding on the capabilities delivered out of the London based Head Office. Seeing the changes first hand gives a real sense of companies long-term strategy and goals.

Cons

In my time, I have seen no real cons to working at Plan-Net, as a company you are rewarded in equal measures to effort to which you put in.

Pros

Given a great amount of independence to accomplish goals. Management listens! Great company culture and coworkers.

Cons

Can be a massive workload but if your career is your focus then it's fine.

Pros

Since starting here I've had no real downsides - you put the work in, you get rewarded and noticed. I've started as a senior desk analyst, then moved into a team leader role due to the constant positive improvements and my great results. If you're the type of person who takes pride in his work and does the best he can while constantly wanting to grow, this is a good company for you. Unsure about how other branches of the company are, but in my part, we get autonomy and are allowed to make mistakes, learn from them and improve ourselves. So far this is the fairest management style I've seen - you put in the work and provide value, you get valued - obviously this means you need the type of person who does put in the work.

Cons

No pluralsight account. No actual break room. Lift sometimes breaks and I need to take the stairs and it's 3 floors but you feel winded because of it, but it's more like 5 floors because it goes around the lift, and then I feel bad about my fitness.
