Pros
The people who actually do the work here are great. Company culture is pretty solid. Rock solid benefits.
Cons
- Upper management likes to go heavy on micromanaging people. It doesn't matter if they have no experience whatsoever with what you do; they'll go around your boss, and even their own VP-level peer that runs your department, so they can judge how you're working. Even if they understand next to nothing about what you do. - PLANOLY operates in an extremely saturated market, one which is getting smaller and smaller by the day as Instagram loses social media market share to TikTok. Our attempt to pivot from being an IG planner to more of a video planner was an absolute disaster of a project due to mismanagement from the top, and the company may never recover from the morale losses we suffered there. - Which leads to the next point: people are quitting and getting laid off left and right. In the last two months, at least ten people have either quit or gotten laid off. That's a LOT for a company of less than 50. It feels like we're on a path to shutting down entirely.
