Pros

The company is very old and the UI might make Craigslist developers proud. Newer employees are trying to improve technologies and add better processes but are frequently hampered by people who have been working there for eternity. The compensation isn't that great but could be tolerable with the work life balance that could still be bad in some teams based on projects.

Cons

1. Managers need to take stern actions against gate-keeping employees. 2. Some of the engineers cannot even solve the very questions they asked during the interview process and need to improve their tech skills.

Pros

Working at Planview has provided me with the opportunity to grow professionally while collaborating with talented and supportive teams across the organization. As a Senior Global Training Consultant, I’ve had the chance to work closely with customers around the world, helping them adopt solutions that improve portfolio management, strategic planning, and operational efficiency. One of the things I value most about Planview is the culture of collaboration and innovation. There is a genuine willingness across teams to share knowledge, support one another, and continuously improve the customer experience. I also appreciate the flexibility to explore new ideas and technologies, especially around AI-enabled learning, customer enablement, and modern training approaches. The company encourages continuous learning and provides opportunities to expand both technical and professional skills. Over the years, I’ve been able to deepen my expertise in enterprise portfolio management while also contributing to new initiatives that help customers realize greater value from the platform. What has kept me here is the combination of meaningful customer impact, strong team relationships, and the ability to continue learning and evolving in my role. It’s rewarding to work for a company that values innovation, customer success, and employee contributions.

Cons

Like many growing technology companies, Planview operates in a fast-paced environment where priorities and initiatives can evolve quickly. At times, balancing multiple projects and organizational changes can be challenging, especially in customer-facing roles that support global teams and clients across different time zones. Because Planview continues to innovate and expand its product capabilities, there can also be a learning curve with new processes, tools, or strategic initiatives. However, for individuals who enjoy continuous learning, collaboration, and adapting to change, these challenges can also create strong opportunities for professional growth and skill development.
