Very supportive team, even with stress I had a manager who cared for me. Felt rewarded for my efforts as I was a monthly and quarterly award winner.
Cons
So when I said there was stress I really mean a lot of stress. As someone who is neurodivergent I didnt feel very supported. I made suggestions on several occasions and my feedback was never utilized. Poorly organized, constant clashing with each of the several departments. Some departments were given special treatment over others. The final few months and after the redundancy were horrible. Everything crumbled right away. The announcement of the building close was out of nowhere but also not surprising how they were constantly refusing to refurnish the building or move due to the constant leaks which I believe lead to the building closing. After I left I was lied to about when I would receive my final severance pay, the pay was delayed due to incompetent upper staff in the BT Hr team. So when i eventually received my final payment after constant calls to the BT hr team I eventually got it. Due to this horrible circumstance I felt like the ghost of Plusnet/BT was constantly haunting me. This was absolute torture and had caused me SO much stress that I tried to complain to the HR team, they took over a month to fully respond properly after I prompted them and they ended up responding with "we paid you on time" which is a complete lie. So Instead of wasting my time again I want to warn everyone who works for Plusnet or any brand owned by BT. The last few months and after the job really soured my experience with the dreadful BT not caring for me despite being one of their higher performers.
