Pros

Honestly -- I love working for Powerback. I started my career in 2020 at Powerback, during the pandemic. Since, I have worked for 3 other rehab companies. Thus far, Powerback is my favorite company that I've worked for. They were in 2020, and they are as I've rejoined in 2025. I feel like I have clinical and personal support, good work life balance, paid fairly. Genuinely, the support that they offer is something that I can feel each day. Perks include having MedBridge, Bonusly to share congratulations to co-workers, discounts on car rentals, reasonable productivity expectations, good hierarchy within the company. I'm happy to be back with Powerback, as I feel the company gives me a steady floor underneath me to support my practice.

Cons

Nothing is ever perfect! It's a huge company in a difficult industry. But they care about their workers!

Pros

Flexibility let’s start times, days that you work

Cons

Hiring team not upfront about true responsibilities and work atmosphere. Was told I could be working at 8 to 430, no holidays, no weekends. When I started, I was told if you take off a holiday you would have to make it up on the weekend. I was also told no residence will work with you at 8 AM so I would wait to come in till later in the morning. Depending on the residence at the independent living facility you may not start when you want to start, lots of refusals and working around their schedule, not your own. Ended up being there much later than anticipated every night of the week, productivity requirements were impossible.

Hello, Thank you immensely for taking the time to share your candid feedback with us. We're incredibly sorry to hear that you did not receive the support you deserved as a new team member. While our process to request feedback in your first few weeks of hire is recent, this does not excuse what you've shared, that we failed to connect with you to learn how we could better support you in your new role. I'm so deeply sorry that this was your experience. Our ongoing goal for our culture and our staff is to create an experience where everyone can thrive at all levels of care. What you've shared here is incredibly helpful, as it includes the exact context I need to directly follow up on your concerns in order to better meet this goal. I've connected with the appropriate teams, and again, sincerely appreciate you sharing these difficult details of your experience. If you have absolutely any additional insights you'd like to share, please do not hesitate to participate in your exit interview process. This process allows us to connect with you 1:1 if needed to provide you with additional support, even as a former Powerback employee. If you'd like to participate, please keep an eye out for an email sent to your personal email address that was on file during your time at Powerback. We appreciate you taking the time to share with us what steps we needed to take to better serve you and support you– this feedback is incredibly important to us, and we take it seriously. Thank you again for your review– we sincerely wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors. --Aimee, Marketing Specialist
