Pros

Take what you read with a grain of salt. Not every person is going to be satisfied at every company. That is what is so great about all of the possibilities of the tech industry. Certain companies may not be a fit for you, but for me Procare is a great place to work! It is right downtown Denver so you have so many options of transportation from trains to buses to walking. Like most cities parking is difficult but when you work for ProCare you get an eco pass to use on RTD transportation services. There are so many dedicated people wanting to make our company the best in child care software. Really caring about who we help and how quickly we can help them. There are people here that have been here for so long because they truly believe that what they are doing is making an impact. I am very happy with Procare!

Cons

I currently have no cons.

Pros

I truly enjoyed my time at Procare. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Joining this organization for a brief time was one of the best experiences I've had.

Cons

The pay is low and most work a hybrid schedule.

Pros

I appreciate the mission, the talented people here, and the impact our software has on schools, daycares, families, and educators. There is a lot to be proud of in the work itself.

Cons

A recent policy change requires employees who take parental leave to return to work for six months or repay the leave compensation they received. As a current employee, I think future parents should know this upfront because it adds financial pressure during an already vulnerable time. It feels especially ironic at a company whose software directly serves children, families, and educators. It also feels out of step with the direction many strong tech employers are moving in, with more generous parental leave and family support.
