      Lots of fun, enthusiastic people

      Cons

      During the year and a half that I worked there, over 15 people left. That’s a huge percentage of a company of 40-75. Not all people resigned—some were fired—but it reveals the company weaknesses: 1) Leadership has no business or HR experience 2) Leadership also does not know how to lead. One person makes all decisions. When finger pointing occurs, blame flows down, not up. 3) So, employees do not feel consistently feel valued. They vote with their feet.

      Pros

      - Pyka has the best people and culture I have seen in a very long time - The work here is fun, even when overwhelming - Catered individual lunches every day - Dogs in the office

      Cons

      - It's a startup, so lots of work, overtime, some long days (which is not a con for those who are excited about their work) - Some involvement in the defence sector
