The majority of senior leaders are smart, respectful, and genuinely care about their teams — though a minority will put their own ambitions ahead of the people they're supposed to serve.

Decision-making is slow, and with senior leaders holding strong opinions, employees can find it easier to follow orders than fight for new ideas.
