As a General Manager, working with Ram Hotels has been a truly rewarding experience. We have all worked for those companies who say all the right things and produce cliche corporate slogans. Ram Hotels is the complete opposite and is driven by owners and a management and HR team who cares about their staff and the hotels they are managing. I have noticed in a such a short time frame that the management team and corporate staff has an empathetic and empowering management style. Ram wants to keep good people. The company offers a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters growth, both professionally and personally. The leadership and HR team is incredibly hands-on, always providing the necessary resources and guidance to ensure on-property management and employees are set up for success. Ram promotes a collaborative and inclusive culture. The company emphasizes a growth mindset, where employees are encouraged to learn from failures and innovate. There is a strong focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion, with various initiatives to support the General Managers in making sure that we have a strong and diverse portfolio. RDO's are generally expected to support their teams and foster personal development. Regular feedback is encouraged through a continuous performance review process, which helps employees understand our strengths and areas for improvement. I will soon be approaching my 6- month anniversary With Ram Hotels and can truly say that working here has given me a sense of purpose. I'm challenged to continue being a great leader, building my team and delivering quality results. Ram has quickly helped me realize that titles fade and positions change, but my impact endures -- And that great leaders aren't remembered by their titles, but for how they uplift others.
