Pros

Covers health care costs for employees. Managers are good about making sure people don't need to do overtime or stay late. Snacks, food, and happy hours. Flexible work from home for some departments.

Cons

Compensation: Salary research for competitive pay started 2+ years ago but there's been no communication from HR, progress, or salary adjustments. When you reasearch on your own (Payscale, LinkedIn, and Glassdoor) you'll see their salaries are way below the minimum from other places. They're looking to hire people early in their career to keep the cost low. Cancelled 401K match and HSA match. Emphasizes the need to cut costs than flies execs all over the place and funds expensive offsites without worrying about how employees will think about that extra money spent. Product/solution: V2 has been in progress for years. Competitors deliver faster with better tech. Career Planning: No room to grow. First ever CHRO quit before her 1 year hire date (unclear why....). Promotions based on who-likes-who. Training program was a work in progress but 2 of 3 team members creating the training program were laid off. Lots of turnover. Communication: Management mentioned "growing pains" and "turning a corner" in their replies on Glassdoor but this is not a startup. This is a 15+ year old company that expanded two years ago and still hasn't adjusted to going international. Their internal comm is bad with no vision for future, leading to people jumping ship for their biggest customer. Just save yourself some time and go straight to Cisco.

Thanks for the feedback. We appreciate you highlighting our benefit related to employer paid health care cost and work environment. Our employee focused approach is what drives us to offer great benefits and support a driven but fun space. You bring up some issues that have challenged us over the past two years. We did temporarily suspend the 401K match and reduce the HSA company match, albeit a difficult decision, it was weighed against the ability to support other areas of the business that will ultimately benefit all our employees’ long term. We consider career development a path that can have many diverse options. We also strive to provide opportunities that allow our teams to embrace different forms of growth that can broaden individual skills and knowledge. We just completed a global skills assessment to determine individual areas of development while highlighting employees strengths. A crucial step in building up our employees for growth within the organization. The growing pains that we have mentioned in other reviews relate to our significant global expansion, not the longevity of the company itself. We are a company who took on a daunting undertaking in a short period of time. We have turned that corner as previously stated and are focusing on actions that produce mutual benefits for our team and clients. Our compensation packages are a continuous work in progress and also factor in our holistic view and understanding of employee satisfaction – i.e. career development, growth opportunities, fun work environment and flexible work hours are part of what makes RAI a desirable place to work, and as our internal surveys have shown. Regarding your feedback on continuing with transparency, communication is never easy, and we work hard to try and align leaders and teams to move fast. But sometimes we get it wrong but continue to strive for improvement. Thanks again for providing your feedback and the best of luck to you

Pros

* Remote environment * Excellent Support from Peer-Level Colleagues

Cons

*The company lacks stability for employees, with frequent layoffs, voluntary departures, and terminations being common occurrences. * Upper management delegates their projects to you, micromanages every step, and then takes credit for your work. * Onboarding training is inadequate. Avoid joining Ray Allen in an entry-level position unless you are capable of self-teaching.
