Pros

You will gain insight into the industry and have the opportunity to work with and connect with many talented people. The pro is the people, not the company.

Cons

From the outside looking in, RIESTER seems like the big dog agency you want to work for until you actually get there and realize it is a place that has no culture, no value for its employees, and absolutely no structure or strategy in any of its operations. At RIESTER, most employees work 50-60 stressful hours a week for very little pay--this company will low-ball your salary so hard you will feel ashamed if you accept an offer here. Employees are tremendously stressed and unhappy and management is too busy worrying about their own benefits to care. This is not a place young people should expect to grow as favoritism runs rampant for people who have been there from the beginning and your skills don't even matter as you will likely just do work your boss doesn't want to. New business and borderline abusive clients are placed above employees and the turn over rate is high. Forget about any promise of growth or "raises"--raises are a topic avoided at all costs and even if you fight to get one, you likely wont receive it for 4-6 months. And beware that in case of any uncertain circumstances, discarding employees is the first plan of action. Many people were let go due to COVID-19 and while this is an understandable situation, the way it was handled was extremely disrespectful. Some people even lost their benefits the following day. All of this is sadly telling. If you can help it, stay far far away. This company only looks good on paper and because of the awards it wins on the backs of it exhausted, unhappy, over-worked and underpaid employees.

Pros

It's a collaborative environment where you are constantly encouraged to grow and challenge yourself. Management is always open to suggestions and feedback.

Cons

Can be very fast-paced, but nothing out of the usual for a full service agency.
