Pros

Diversity, culture, wonderful training opportunities and learning labs, and the genuine nature of corporate and on-site leadership makes RPM a stand-out company!

Cons

High turnover, lack of properties in the pipeline, and difficult clients can lower the morale. The KPIs are not “lease-up” friendly in most cases, which plummets bonus potential.

Pros

The company is very big on promoting from within and actively encourages internal growth. There is a wealth of information available through the various courses they offer, which allows you to gain a significant amount of industry knowledge if you are self-motivated.

Cons

While the resources are there, the culture is very much "figure it out on your own." Leadership often points you toward the Knowledge Network rather than providing actual hands-on guidance or support. Additionally, there is a lack of transparency with clients; it often feels like you are "co-managing" rather than truly managing the asset because so much is withheld from the owners. It is also extremely difficult to move underperforming staff out, which creates a drag on the rest of the team.
