Pros
The only pros from TMP are really the PTO days and the laid back office atmosphere. There isn't a strict dress code at all and most of the time they are pretty flexible when you have appointments or situations happen in your personal life. They will work with you to make sure you can work around your hours. That's all I can really say that's good.
Cons
First of all - there is NO training. It is a sink or swim and throw you to the wolves type mentality. Management does NOT support you whatsoever and will let the higher status account team members bully you if you are not one of the "chosen few". Second of all - the work load is insane! And it's unrealistic for the majority of the time! Team members throw you under the bus in front of clients. 401K - TMP says they will match based on performance reviews BUT I don't know one single person that EVER had 401k matching!!! The turnover is EXTREMELY high! I was one of the few that had been there for upwards of 2 years and during my time at TMP, the number of different people that were hired and fired/resigned was incredibly high! This is probably due to the lack of training and communications by management. But then again you can tell management doesn't really care about anything except themselves. When they tell you that the office always hits quota/target numbers so you can DEFINITELY count on that bonus incentive at the end of every quarter, you might want to question the percentage! Not one quarter while I was there were the numbers on target, therefore I NEVER received any type of bonus! This isn't based on individual account performance, but the entire office! Also, you are expected to work from home at night, answer the phone after hours and before hours. You need a life at some point! I KNOW what other Account Directors were making and I was making $30k less in base salary!! Why is there THAT big of a jump?!
