Pros
There is none the CEO is the WORST
Cons
My Experience with [Company Name] – A Cautionary Tale I was recruited away from a full-time role I genuinely enjoyed, with promises of significant earning potential and strong support. Specifically, I was offered a base salary range of $90K–$120K with On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $180K–$220K. Despite these numbers, the company refused to negotiate on base salary, and I quickly learned that many of the promises made during the recruitment process were misleading or outright false. Red Flags and False Promises: No Real Negotiation: They refused to budge on base salary and offered no meaningful ramp-up period (industry standard is 3 months). Threat of Termination in the Offer: Before even starting, they sent a document stating I would be fired if I didn’t make a sale within 90 days—hardly a sign of confidence in their own hiring process. No Real Comp Plan or Sales Structure: I was two months in, had an agreement out with a $20M producer, and had built a pipeline worth over $500M—but I was still fired before I was even fully ramped. Completely Outbound Role: I was told the role would be 50% inbound and 50% outbound. In reality, it was entirely outbound. There was zero lead support. Toxic Leadership and Misleading Tech: CEO's Disdain for Clients: The CEO frequently referred to real estate agents—his primary customer base—as "lazy" and "needing this product," which, as a former realtor, I found both offensive and naive. Questionable Tech Claims: The platform claims to use proprietary AI insights, but it openly pulls data from Zillow, not the MLS. Internal communications confirmed this, meaning the insights are far less accurate and reliable than presented. Final Thoughts This company’s leadership lacks transparency, support, and basic respect for both employees and customers. I took a leap of faith based on their promises, and was met with poor structure, empty claims, and a premature termination that ignored early signs of strong performance. If you're considering working here, proceed with caution.
