Pros

* Very friendly senior management, they are extremely understanding and easy to talk to. They genuinely care about their employees' well being. * Very good benefits (401k, medical) * Location is right downtown Kirkland with views of Lake Washington * Interesting projects with big-name companies * Every employee is multi-skilled, very knowledgeable and generally a huge pleasure to work with. Made many friends here. * Regardless of how many years you have been in the industry, Radius provides plenty of opportunities for personal growth. This is not going to be "just a job" of "making some mundane app" that you've done a thousand times. There's a lot going on at this company, so rest assured your skills will only get sharper here. * Company events are always lighthearted and set at nice locations. Open bar is fairly common during the holidays. Senior management is very down to earth and will take everyone out for beers at a local pub just to mingle.

Cons

* Vacation policy. Not really a con, but it's not super great either. Understandable for a smaller growing company. I should point out, though, that you do get more than 2 weeks of paid time off here, so it's definitely better than many other companies out there. But sick time is packaged into your regular time off and is not a separate item.

Great People, challenging projects, flat structure with management that was always easy to work with.

Its success was its undoing. Radius got purchased and the company culture changed dramatically.

Pros

Radius Inc. is a great place to work and is really trying to build something different in the technology consulting space...especially when it comes to company culture. They not only seek out challenging and exciting roles for their employees, but also offer many perks/benefits not often seen in other companies, especially one so new. The environment is collaborative, innovative, and rewarding. Things like no formal vacation policy (i.e. take what you need) and no non-competes are virtually unheard of, and the medical/dental benefits and 401k plan are as good as many large Fortune 100 companies. I like how the company focuses on the "we" instead of the "me", and puts a real emphasis on teamwork. One good example is the Innovation Team (and related Innovation Lab). Instead of employees sitting on the bench in between projects, they become part of the Innovation Team and work on cutting edge technologies and projects. Although I'm still fairly new to the company, I like what I see so far!

Cons

I haven't seen any real negatives yet. I will say that the Radius environment is definitely for self-sufficient proactive individuals who are comfortable with true accountability. There is management support; however, there is not the typical management hierarchy with a boss constantly standing over you telling you what to do. I believe that to be a good thing; however, some people may not be comfortable in this type of environment.
