Pros
-I had some freedom while out picking; could run to the washroom if needed -some of the employees oit on the floor were friendly and looked forward to seeing their faces every day
Cons
-poor management; you don't need any management skills to be a manager; only have put in a few years at RCSS and know someone -expects you to work like a dog - unless you were a favorite - my advice is to get in good with your manager and be gossipy to get ahead -a lot of angry, indignant people in the unskilled workforce- they prob hate yyeir lives -super-expensive union fees and the union doesn't do anything tp protect workers rights (I had unpaid overtime, no breaks, etc -you wall A LOT in click and collect so your feet and hips will hurt soooo much at first. You will have to buy Dr scholls which aren't cheap -management expectx you to work late and on scheduled days off if they have a busy day and if you don't they are very mad and will cut back your scheduled hours to try to get you to quit - they don't care that you might have a life outside RCSS. -don't know how this department is making any money -very hard to get full-time but the job is so I couldn't do it anyways -bottom line: not a company you can geat ahead at - they underpay and mistreat good employees and play favorites
