I love my job! - Real Estate Agent Real Estate One Employee Review

Pros

Outstanding training. Great support staff. This company can take someone who is self motivated and open to training and turn them into a knowledgeable sales professional. Many other real estate brokers show you where you sit and wish you well. Real Estate One offers a combination of goal oriented training, agent support and still affords the agents the ability to work at a self employed level.

Cons

Real estate agents are self employed and 1099'd. If you are looking for a compensation plan that includes company paid health insurance, vacation or sick days this is not the industry for you. This is not directed at Real Estate One this is industry wide. If you work hard you will earn more than enough to compensate and plan for your own needs... if you don't maybe a nice 9-5.

Pros

- You get to work with a diverse crowd of people at various locations - Benefits are good but start after 90 days - Nice break rooms

Cons

- Does not follow any industry standard IT practices, upper management even boasts about it. - Shares user passwords in plaintext after asking for them in an email to the user when setting up a new laptop for an existing user - No IT documentation or policies of any kind. - No structure, things are very unclear and may put you on edge. - Not very interested in progressing forward in technology, co-workers keep blaming upper management, owners, and the company's MSPs as the reason. The owner of REO seems to only be interested in profits and putting IT last in terms of budgeting and support. - Not very forgiving when it comes to making mistakes during the first 90 days on the job. Was told to "find a different job" by my boss if I continued to make mistakes. - No raises or any job opportunity advancements
