Pros

The people who are in the trenches with you

Cons

There are many downsides working here. Management is only in it for themselves. They have no clue how to lead. If you do good, you don't hear anything and if you aren't doing great, you will be fired right away or have a strong talking to... even if things aren't your fault. The CEO is out to lunch, has no idea how to run a company.... Very "showy". Continues to tell people this is "their" company too - which is laughable... He is only saying this because he can't afford to give people raises this year. BUT at least he is paying for 3 Christmas parties, equaling to at least 150K. And pays for expensive art work... It's honestly absurdity. Because they don't know how to run a company, don't expect to move up. There is no mentorship. No growth. To move up in the company, suck up hard to the CEO and management. Never offer constructive criticism or your own opinion and you will fly under the radar and maybe one day be able to move up. Because they have no money, they are looking for any excuse to fire their employees. It's a very negative and toxic place to be.

Pros

Management makes me feel like my contribution to the company is appreciated. Recollective is an inclusive company with opportunity to advance if that is what you want.

Cons

I have no cons. I enjoy coming to work every day.

Pros

Many nice colleagues, ability to work remotely.

Cons

Recollective is a company that looks good on paper, but once you get into the company, you know you made a mistake. Nothing sets the product from its competitors, making it a daunting task to make sales quotas. The software has a ton of issues, the commission is nonexistent, and the salary is below market level. This company has been around for 12 years and acts like it's still a start-up! If you have any sales experience, find a better gig, you will be looking for another job in 6 months if you join.
