Pros

I learned so much at Reed and had fantastic opportunities to develop myself. Starting out on the phones and learning about recruitment and advertising, eventually getting onto a face to face sales team, attending events, conferences, sales training courses and more. I went to games at Wembley, events at Royal Albert Hall, multiple sales outings, hackathons, money towards learning something new etc. It's a really good place to work if you get stuck in, keep your head down and open to learning. The whole company does have a family-run feel which is great. I owe a lot to Reed and the opportunities I had there.

Cons

Salary and commission can get stagnant. Other job board competitors love Reed because they have great training and they know all they have to do is offer £10k-£12k more salary a year to get them to join. If there were more pay reviews or bumps then retention would be much better.

Thanks for your positive review and feedback. The sales team have recently introduced the Sales Academy and the transparent Career Progression Framework which shows how regular pay increases are achieved. I hope this continues to motivate and reward and I'd encourage you to talk to your manager if you have other thoughts and ideas.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Recruitment of course has a level of sales skills required and we acknowledge it's not for everyone.
