Pros

The few pros they had have just been gutted so... There's fancy techno music in the lobby so you know you work for a cool company /s

Cons

Almost no retirement. Instead of matching, you get $500/year. This was kind of ok given other perks except they just announced that they're dropping the annual learning stipend from $2000 to $500 and the well-being subsidy has been cut in half. I never thought I'd want more project manager involvement but with the complete lack of organization of work/projects, working here has made me miss things like daily stand ups and project updates. Everything exists in silos, everybody wants THEIR projects prioritized without regard to the others. I honestly can't tell if these are growing pains as the company grows and moves away from a start up culture or if there's just a fundamental lack of concern with properly managing everything. Clearly they'd rather cut costs by taking things away from individual employees rather than question the fact that the way everything is managed is not at all streamlined and causes redundant work.

Pros

The prop test team at Stennis is awesome. The people are super cool, and the work is engaging. There's a nice balance of hands on work and technical design work.

Cons

Don't work here if you never want to put in a day longer than 8 hours, but in reality though the job is fun enough that you probably won't mind the extra time.

Pros

Amazing benefits & on-site amenities. Generous PTO, Sick and holiday schedule. Great place to learn and get foot in the door of aerospace. Great hub for young talent industry wide you are given a lot of autonomy of your work day.

Cons

Toxic leadership & senior management. Promotions and raises are not determined by merit, the company allows nepotism which is rampant in every aspect of the company. Would much rather turn a blind eye than address long term issues with a toxic work environment. The minute you stop being a yes man and start challenging the status quo in the name of efficiency, you are targeted by leadership and subsequently pushed out one way or another. You'll be fine if you are personal friends of management.
