They expect unwavering dedication, regardless of personal emergencies or your well-being. Think twice if you value flexibility or a supportive environment. Upper management exists in a parallel universe where accountability is a foreign concept. They'll happily disappear on crucial dates, leaving you to shoulder their workload. Even after pulling double duty, don't expect a pat on the back. In fact, they might be busy taking credit for your efforts with their superiors. Working at Rituals took a toll on my mental and physical health. The constant pressure, lack of appreciation, and culture of blame were a recipe for burnout. This isn't a company you want to get sucked into. There are far better options out there for your talents and well-being.
