Pros

Established company that has been around for 20+ years. Salaries are decent, the benefits are good and having a healthy work/life balance is actually possible here.

Cons

The policies and procedures in place here are absolutely archaic. Have new ideas?...Don't even bother. There was a considerable amount of workplace gossip and be forewarned, Millennials...this isn't a place you'll be welcomed with open arms.

Thanks for the feedback. We're always open to ideas, unfortunately sometimes policy does trump action. Regarding the millennial comment - 20% of our current staff fits into that category so you can ask them.

Pros

happy hour with the team on Fridays

Cons

There are some great people at the company, but teamwork is virtually nonexistent. The environment is extremely competitive, with individuals often prioritizing their own commissions over collaboration. Unfortunately, there's little to no support from upper management. Compensation is heavily commission-based, and the internal systems are outdated and difficult to work with. The owners—who are brothers—remain completely disconnected from the team. In my four months at the company, I never had a single conversation with either of them. It would make a big difference if they were more present and offered consistent feedback and guidance. After leaving the company, I didn’t receive my final paycheck on time and had to follow up multiple times to resolve the issue, which was incredibly frustrating.
