Pros

Good pay, decent benefits, decent people

Cons

Everything! They reel you in placing being apart of Rivian on this glory pedestal only to disappoint as time goes on. Work life balance is non existent unless you are chummy with someone and you are accommodated with a schedule created just for you. Oh and “accommodations” which are short term is the only way to adjust your work life balance Seniority is non existent. There’s no reward for length or committing to employment. No recognition either except a grouped happy anniversary message. No incentives for maintaining good metrics. You are given 80 hrs of personal time but you accrue PTO at an extremely low rate. Let’s just say to see 40 hours of PTO it will take almost 6 months. Micromanagement is through the roof! You have to schedule time to go pee for crying out loud. They pay well so that means work us like slaves. Chaotic work processes like unnecessarily unorganized, constantly changing, you can’t say this or that….a 10 year old could run that place. They either make you jump through hoops or simply choose who they like in career advancement. Overall the money isn’t worth the frustration and your mental health If I could give 0 stars I would
