Pros

Flexible work from home environment because they can't afford offices

Cons

Everything. Mostly that you will go out, find product, negotiate a deal, then they will be unable to pay for it. You will burn your personal bridges and potentially ruin your career and they do not care. They are a pyramid scheme trying to turn a quick buck.

Pros

Travel industry perks, but they're few and far between.

Cons

Where do I start? -Clueless branch manager who is YesMan to corporate brass and dumps CEO-requested trips on call center folks who already are overburdened with sales goals. Pay not commensurate with workload. Expect to work holidays, with management talking up the finer aspects of working from home on Christmas Day. Creepy rah-rah company meetings streamed live on company website where the CEO and Big Cheese say nothing of substance and smile as they point fingers and fire perfectly capable employees for suspect reasons. DreamTrips membership skates right up to the scam category - wouldn't waste a dime on membership in it, and members are often upset that they can't manipulate the website to book trips. Don't expect to see any commission on non-Dreamtrip travel that you book, as the parent company takes it all but doesn't see fit to redistribute any of it as a year-end bonus. Management is untrustworthy and unapproachable with sub-par communication skills. If you ask questions about the financial health of the company or its parent company, it will come back to bite you in the posterior. Zero career growth if you get stuck on the sales team, only higher sales goals. P.S. the good health insurance benefits don't compensate for the underpaid, gossipy, Big Brother work atmosphere.
