Pros
More focus on the future than ever before with a eye on IPO. The leadership rating is completely dependent on your team and relationship building skills. Benefits are still good although they've been slipping as other the bar has been raised throughout the industry.
Cons
Leadership is inconsistent with many technical people promoted beyond their ability to lead people and often leave individual contributors lagging. There is little to no incentive to continue learning and growing technically.
