Pros

- You will meet many great people as there is more turnovers than Greggs (maybe this is why they have a revolving door at the entrance) - Not much stress involved.....as all interesting work is carried out by 3rd parties - Can leave your work in work when you leave the office - Can be open about your feelings (this does not mean that anything will change though) - Put on official training courses (this does not mean you will ever be able to utilise the training though) - Typing skills and MS Office skills went through the roof (this is due to having to fill out 12 documents just to update one project)

Cons

- Constantly fighting with all other divisions of the business. Just because a work phone is powered by electricity and has a screen does not mean I should be looking at or dealing with it. - Top level management have the ultimate say in technical issues....this explains why wireless was not incorporated into the business until 2014, as they deemed it unsecure! - Meetings are more important to the business than actually doing any work (you will need to get used to having meetings about meetings) - Progress reports are more important to the business than actual progress itself - Far too many managers - Only way to progress (career-wise) by any means is to become a management type - Treated like children a lot of the time - micromanaged - Not trusted to carry out certain technical work despite never being given the chance. They always call in 3rd parties to carry out the work whilst we oversee it. - A lot of "management speak" is used at many levels to give the impression that people are important, busy or even to give off the impression that they know what they are talking about. - PDR process is a farce. In fact, calling it a farce is farcical. It is way beyond a farce. Such as waste of time and energy.

Pros

If you have an open schedule, and lots of flexibility this is the place for you. There are many shifts to work during a day, and many hours to rack up on the phones. This is a place thats fast-paced and you must have the drive to make the sale. Over the phone sales not only include a sales mentality, but one of courteousness and excellent customer service skills.

Cons

A large area of opportunity with this company is the training technique. With such a fast-paced environment, there is not much time to be developed. You pretty much have to come in with the ability of computer skills, customer service skills and the "know how" of sales. There is an incubation period, where you have more concentrated help, but from there you are pretty much on your own. More than 1 Day of training will go far with keeping reps from early burnout, frustration on the calls and script adherence and familiality.
