Pros

- Free snacks - Downtown location - Work/life balance

Cons

Management is incompetent and only come into the office a few times a week, but tell employees they aren't working enough. It's clear the CEO just hired old coworkers/friends so they can collect a paycheck. Middle management is filled with people who have never managed teams before or have no training to do so. Get ready to be micromanaged and openly criticized. Environment is known to be a boys' club so unconscious biases towards women do happen. Zero career growth. Don't expect to work hard and be rewarded for it. Promotions will only be given to favorites. Compensation is also below market average. If you have any problems with this, don't bother going to HR. Your complaints will be negated and you will be blamed for something, one way or another. They have openly made disparaging remarks about Americans in more than one occasion.

Pros

-Flexible, truly invested in their employees well being, interesting product with lots of potential. -Global company with very distinct cultures in each location. -They have moved fast and made great strides. -Amazing training program (both professional and personal growth) -Benefits are pretty good. -Most of the top Leadership is approachable and interactive -Great starting place for a recent college graduate. -Standing desks

Cons

Compensation - definitely on the lower end of Silicone Valley, but then they are in Downtown San Jose. C & VP Leadership - poor communication, mixed messages, an overall avoidance for stepping up and doing the hard things, till its too late. Politics: For the size of company, there are a lot of politics and complicated processes, and a general blame game when things go wrong. Promotion and career growth can be pretty limited.
