You cannot make a customer stay, so you cannot control your bonus.
There are endless days and hours of working alone which is extremely stressful.
This will start while you are still on probation and not fully trained.
I had a manager who was only concerned with her ego and ambitions within the company.
She had no interest in her staff or the branch.
She was out of her depth and underperforming but the company did not care how this impacted her staff.
It was degrading to be told how to do something by someone who could not do it themselves.
If you struggle with any of your targets it will not be dealt with at branch level.
Instead, underperformers are humiliated by e-mails sent to everyone on the region.
Your name and sales figures will be in big bright red lettering for all to see.
They think this motivates people. It does not. It is bullying.
They will threaten to sack you rather than support you if you struggle with anything.
If you are honest and say you are struggling with something then your days are numbered.
I was signed off work with stress due to the relentless pressures of the job, especially the lone working.
Instead of offering me the help and support I desperately needed I was threatened with the sack because being ill is classed as poor conduct.
There is blatant favouritism.
Certain people are allowed to sit and play on their phones all day and not do any work.
If you are not a favourite you will have to sweep and clean the facility every day.
You are trained to lie to customers and manipulate them into spending money on insurance that far exceeds the value of what they are storing.
If you have a conscience and you are a decent person then this is very difficult.
So please avoid, even if you are desperate.
