Pros

A great team, great products! Felt like I was part of a family while I was working there. I looked forward to going to work every day, and never missed a day when I was there. Energy levels are usually up, something is always happening. Management is friendly. Expectations are high, standards are high, and there is also a great level of appreciation and communication. I liked every single person at the company - there wasn't one person who worked there that I didn't like.

Cons

Can't really think of anything substantial - overall a great place to work. The only thing I can think of that's not positive to say is that it's a young company, so as a startup I suppose it's more prone to change and pivots than a large company, but that's something that goes with the territory of being a startup.

Pros

If you can lay low and join a team with good people and a good manager (there are a couple), it's possible to be shielded from the politics for a short while.

Cons

Unfortunately, politics corrupt this company from the top down. The CEO and VPs often make promises to investors, board members, and the public to gain funding and company hype. The technical feasibility is an after thought, and a burden placed on the manager and employees of the team. When things are going well, expect that the VPs and CEO will be there to take credit; if things are going poorly, expect them to maneuver themselves out of the path of destruction and let their employees take the fall. I strongly advise future candidates to talk to people on their team before making any decision.
