Pros

Schenck has worked very hard to building an outstanding intentional culture that promotes both personal and professional group. I can say that for the first time in a long time I don't dread going in to work. Many companies have a set of core values that they will maybe talk about once or twice a year but they don't do anything to actually live out those values. Their passion and dedication for their team members is clearly evident. I know that my manager truly cares about me as a person and not just as a body to get work done. The team members put just as much passion into the care for the work they do and services they provide to their clients. I'm proud to be a Schenkian!

Cons

I haven't found any yet.

Pros

Co-workers, office location, staffing level

Cons

Company was acquired by Schenck -- it took three months to receive an offer. Prior to receiving the offer, the company's "process" involved "jumping through many hoops" and communication was minimal. Although it took three months to receive the offer, Schenck expected an immediate response. It was obvious Schenck was not used to negotiation. Its arrogance is unlimited. The offer letter denigrated my professional experience and career accomplishments. It was riddled with typographical and grammatical errors. My attorney reviewed the agreement and recommended changes due to a pending opportunity with the acquired firm's clients. Schenck then revoked the offer although it invited me to contact them, stating it would not revoke its offer. What would be the point of contacting these people? The lack of leadership and "we will have the last word" attitude was appalling. Clearly, the company does not value its human resources.
