Pros

Co-workers, office location, staffing level

Cons

Company was acquired by Schenck -- it took three months to receive an offer. Prior to receiving the offer, the company's "process" involved "jumping through many hoops" and communication was minimal. Although it took three months to receive the offer, Schenck expected an immediate response. It was obvious Schenck was not used to negotiation. Its arrogance is unlimited. The offer letter denigrated my professional experience and career accomplishments. It was riddled with typographical and grammatical errors. My attorney reviewed the agreement and recommended changes due to a pending opportunity with the acquired firm's clients. Schenck then revoked the offer although it invited me to contact them, stating it would not revoke its offer. What would be the point of contacting these people? The lack of leadership and "we will have the last word" attitude was appalling. Clearly, the company does not value its human resources.

Pros

As its an actively growing firm, there is good opportunity for growth within the Firm (can be dependent upon which business unit) - both within individual position and within team member expertise. Management appears to genuinely care for their team members. People Team has made extensive improvements in the culture of the Firm and has created a structure specifically to ensure strategic growth of their people. Very good opportunity for advancement and career satisfaction.

Cons

Excessive amount of hours during busier seasons. Flexibility can be good, but depends on who you are working with.
