Pros

The company is filled with co-workers who help each other forget about what a crap company they work for. Also, they throw a minimal party a couple times a year on holidays.

Cons

Where to start... The CEO is an idiot: Truly a moron with no idea how to run a company but insists on doing it himself. He places his family members and relatives here there and everywhere as department heads despite the fact that neither he nor they know anything about that role. So you have hard working teams of people doing the job they have experience with or have been trained for being micro-managed by severely under qualified individuals. This often results in a team being told to do things one way when it is clear to EVERYONE except management that it is a terrible idea. This of course causes problems down the road and management points the finger elsewhere. The Benefits: There are care packages available if you choose. However, they are not great. High deductibles, co-pays, ect. It really only makes sense to opt in if you have an accident prone family. Communication: None. Just zero. A couple departments are self contained and do not require extensive communication but this is not the majority. The departments that needed to communicate the most did so the least. This problem goes back to poor management to some extent. There would be limited time offers that customers knew about before the support team, or site updates/maintenance that IT would role out in secret, or last second changes to event paperwork that would require 400 booklets to be completely redone before the end of the day. Work/Life Balance: For most of the year the balance is positive (I gave it 3 stars below). However, during Christmas most departments enforce mandatory overtime. X-mas is insane and time off for 4-5 weeks leading up to it is automatically denied. They tell you not to even ask. Each year is different based on demand but typically you will have to work at least one Saturday (all day) right before the 25th.

Pros

Some of the employees were cool to work with

Cons

Skeleton crews in every department, no hiring ever considered. High task load with unrealistic expectations that you could ever take time off when you might be the only one available at any given time.
