Pros

I learned what a technician's day-to-day work looks like and also realized it was completely the wrong environment for me. I cannot tolerate being disrespected every single day.

Cons

The job is extremely stressful and mentally draining. As a technician, dealing with constant aggressive and rude behavior from customers made every day miserable. No one should have to put up with that. Much of it comes from poor leadership and a system that clearly fails to keep customers calm or satisfied. Technicians are not given proper training or support to handle constant verbal abuse. De-escalation is difficult, exhausting, and wears you down over time. I left because continuing in that environment felt unbearable.
