Pros

Many promises. Pleasant and nice people with loads of wonderful flexibility.

Cons

I was told the job was flexible and would only require 1-2 days going to a local doctor’s office, that it would require training in Scranton,PA, but that would be paid for by them, along with my gas and hotel stay. Generally places will provide mileage to cover the general wear and tear of your vehicle, which is approximately: 54 cents per mile, not this place! The pay was low, many promises were made, few were kept. My gas cost was not fully paid. Once down there, training meant sitting in front of people making phone calls - for three days! Hardly the needed training that warrants driving close to 300 miles! That 1-2 days at doctors offices, turned into three, and the promise of going all over town to various offices. Then I received a letter that I had been given PERMISSION to VOLUNTEER at these offices! The pay changed within a week, along with what was expected of me. I spent 116 dollars just on gas and it was 8 hours of my time driving, which was never paid for, I returned their equipment for 61 dollars, and of course was not paid for that or the 22 hours I worked either. Sadly I am not surprised. Their job offer with pay rate was sent through a PRIVATE site, and made certain I couldn’t obtain a copy of it... ironically PA labor laws state they do NOT have to pay you for training! Without my job offer in writing they will get away with it! They then reposted the position offering all these benefits which they never offered me. I am really not sure what this place’s deal is, but truly I would tread with caution!

Pros

Remote work Positive, engaged clinics that appreciate CCM services. Very rewarding work.

Cons

Constant changes since merger. Very low pay. High patient load. Policies are constantly changing and not communicated to staff. They are looking to downsize and therefore are finding reasons to terminate nurses and hire MAs in replacement. Inconsistent metrics and management does not treat all employees the same. HR is a joke. A lot of discrimination happens at this job but they avoid punishment by false documentation. Frequent performance evals are never consistent. Issues are not addressed during eval and management then reports concerns to HR without discussing. Zero room for growth, management is handpicked based upon who will tolerate and enforce their lies and deceit. Benefits are awful and costly. We lost numerous benefits, holidays and PTO this year. Overtime requires prior approval but unless you are one of the chosen ones it usually gets denied. If you work over even with management approval, if it wasnt submitted by noon you will be placed on a PIP. HR is CONSTANTLY giving PIPs for everything. Equipment is slow, VDI and software are broken more than they work. Overall an extremely toxic company. It was wonderful prior to the merger and now it has just become an absolute joke of the company.
