Pros

Do we have to put something here? Remote workers did not have their hours micro-managed. The office staff and majority of the people hired were actually very brilliant and smart individuals, but the revolving door quickly saw those that represented the culture that simPRO talks about in their job postings come in and quickly disappear.

Cons

Everything is always a "work in progress". The US office was supposed to grow by leaps and bounds for years. It hasn't. There's always a revolving door. The culture that is given 5-star reviews and praised does not exist in the US office. It's all smoke and mirrors. There is zero opportunity for growth. You will either quit or be let go and the executive team will still say you were redundant. The majority of the exec team is redundant and has zero dev or construction background. The mobile app does not help our clients improve their workflow.

We appreciate you giving feedback here for us. We're sad to hear that it is difficult to conceptualize pros and all the good here at simPRO, though we completely agree that our teams are absolutely brilliant and all-around awesome individuals. We have had some folks leave the business, just as we've had many join the business, and we're constantly gathering feedback from our teams regarding how to enhance engagement and overall happiness. In short, we love our people! Being a scaling global company, we pride ourselves on the ability to be agile, though this can be frustrating at times when changes occur rapidly. We disagree that our culture, plans for growth and opportunities for growth are smoke and mirrors. In fact, we have many folks that have been promoted and advanced within the business and the vast majority of folks saying they love our culture and contributing to it every day. Our reviews are never coerced and completely authentic, so any 5-star reviews speak to genuine feelings regarding our culture. Our discussions around topics like mental health are sincere, close to the hearts of our teams, and help to normalize the importance of holistic wellness in our working lives. Our view is that it's impossible to have zero culture, because our employees are and drive our culture. And yes, there is always room for improvement, which we hope to continue to show that we respect and value through actions like enhancing our overall benefits & perks packages and moving to a hybrid and even more flexible work model. We'd love to work together so that you, too, can feel engaged and empowered here. Our leaders or our People & Culture rep would greatly appreciate any of your ideas, suggestions, feedback, you name it. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to continue the conversation with you.

Pros

Non upon my voluntary departure.

Cons

The new CEO? A MAGA Miami man installed by K1 like a hood ornament on a car with no engine. EDM blaring through the office. Twenty minutes late to his own all-hands. Executives who can't be bothered to show up to meetings they scheduled. This is leadership now. This is the vision. And God help you if you're a woman. Welcome back to the 90s, sweetheart. The good ol' boys club is fully operational. If you enjoy being sexually harassed on Google calls, you've found your people. If you enjoy being excluded from meetings that are literally about your job, and then talked over when you somehow make it in, congratulations, you're thriving. The Kaseya crew brought their whole culture with them and planted it like a flag. Meanwhile, customers - real people, good people who trusted this software to run their livelihoods - were getting locked into three-year contracts and told to be grateful. Price hikes? Absolutely. Bug fixes? We'll get back to you. The UI looks like it was designed in 2009 by someone who deeply resents the user. But you can't say any of that. Constructive criticism is treated like treason. So what do you do? You smile. You hit your impossible targets or you get managed out. You watch good people disappear overnight -- no party, no card, just gone, desk cleared, Slack deactivated. Then leadership sends a company-wide email about "exciting new chapters." I came here to build something. Instead I watched them burn it down and charge the customers for the smoke.
