Pros

I've worked at several hot startups that are now public companies and I think the direction SingleStore is headed in can make it one of the largest software companies eventually. Not afraid to make big changes and honest about what we are good at and bad at. New leadership is hiring good executives that will take this company to new heights. In sales, it's pretty simple, they let you do the job your way as long as you get the job done. It doesn't have to be "their" way.

Cons

The only con I can argue so far is that the company needs to do a better job of getting it's name out there. However, we just raised money to get that done.

Cons

Focus on creating a culture where employees feel respected, supported, and valued. Take employee feedback seriously and hold managers and team leads accountable for how they interact with their teams. When employees raise concerns or ask for support, ensure those issues are addressed with meaningful action rather than being overlooked. Better communication, transparency, and leadership accountability would help build trust, improve morale, and strengthen employee retention.
