Pros
The infectious enthusiasm I experienced during the recruitment process set a positive tone and sparked my initial interest in working for Smart, and there are/ were some fantastic people I had the pleasure of working with and learning from during my time here.
Cons
Unfortunately, the day-to-day reality did not entirely align with the expectations set during recruitment. There's a discernible gap that needs addressing. Instances of communication falling short have highlighted disparities between the initial portrayal and the actual work culture. Smart has experienced some challenging moments due to political dynamics, and certain leadership decisions have been questionable. There seems to be a reluctance to address theses issues and a continued desire to paint a positive narrative about the culture and performance of the business.
