Pros

The company is small so that means that your contributions are noticeable; you are not just a number. There are tons of opportunity for growth because your contributions are noticed, you can advance laterally and vertically. The company offers a variety of services to clients so there are many things you can try out if you wish. Benefits are great. Pay is competitive. Bonuses are okay if you are in support, but great if you are a consultant or in management/leadership. Lots of holidays and PTO. They make a nice effort to make sure the people are heard and taken care of because they ask for feedback and do check-ins regularly. There are free snacks and fun activities if you decide you want to work in the office. The hybrid work schedule is really nice. Support staff is super helpful and friendly. The people that you get to work with are seriously great. Fun, friendly, and very knowledgeable people that you can learn A LOT from. If you get to work at the company, this would be one of the best reasons to come aboard. There's tons of industry and professional knowledge that you can feed off of to better yourself personally and professionally. Micro-management is nonexistent if you're delivering quality work. The company is very accommodating to those that put in the effort and also very veteran friendly.

Cons

The company is small so that means there will be some expected growing pains. It's common for people to wear several hats to keep things afloat. This can be pretty stressful for some and their whole team will feel it. Upper management sometimes disregards critical feedback from employees and assigns tasks/project that are out of scope from their original employment. As a tech company, can be more on the traditional side rather than progressive. It took a long time for the company to get cool with 100% remote working after the initial hit of the pandemic. Even now though, it seems that there is preference for employees to come into the office: there are designated days that people are 'supposed to' come in. Sometimes upper management can be way too busy which causes them to be out of touch, disengaged, and when they come back in touch, will provide irrelevant and unnecessary criticisms. There's no sales team/executive so a lot of sales pressure gets put on upper management which can cause them to be stretched too thin to be present. Decision-making for company-wide change are too concentrated and narrow at the top.

Pros

This is a stable small business with very large diversified clients. I stay busy! Mostly remote work, depending on how far you live from the Houston office, but you come in the office anywhere from 1 day a week to a quarter.

Cons

Sometimes hard to get balance if clients and internal work are all coming down on you at once. Have to learn to prioritize and manage time on your own or you can feel overwhelmed.
