Pros

The environment is really good. Everyone was really helpful. I love working with my co-workers or should I say former co-workers.

Cons

Horrible management! Low pay Horrible office I was applying for a Software QA position and the QA Lead really likes me and wanted me to be a part of the team right away. The next day the QA Lead told me he didn't get the green light to hire a new person on the team. I was like ok cool it was worth a try and I still have my job. But the following day i was called into HR and let go for the reason that my current department (Tech Support) doesn't have the money to keep me anymore and that changes are being made that another tech isn't necessary. Which i know is total BULL! All my co-workers was disappointed and knew that wasn't a valid reason to let me go and I was doing so good as my co-workers said. The next week they transferred someone to Tech Support and they also try to get other people on other departments to help them as I was told from my former co-workers. I think its total BULL! and just wasn't right. My co-workers like me and thought i was doing a great job. They were all shock as I was.

Pros

The atmosphere in the company is warm and welcoming.

Cons

The project has a lot of legacy code, and a lot of the times you will be just debugging stuff

Pros

Honestly, the people are what convinced me to work here. I've worked in marketing for a while, but I didn't know the first thing about ecommerce or inventory management software...so taking a gig marketing for an ecommerce software company was something about which I was a little wary. The more time I spent in the office, though, the more quickly I was convinced. My first month was supposed to be part-time while I phased out my freelancing work, but I went full-time after a week. The company culture is relaxed and friendly, but the office is still fast-paced and fun. There are also a lot of great restaurants around, Venice is just a couple of miles away...the atmosphere around the office is really nice. Oh, and we've got a ping-pong table. Everybody that works here is friends. We get free lunch (Thai or Indian) every Friday, we have a little latte robot, and once a month we get to take a half day and hit the beach as a group. The people here are intelligent, driven, and friendly. It's really a rad place to work.

Cons

The office is pretty fast-paced, which can be problematic for some people. Self-direction is valued, and that can definitely be tough for some workers. There's really not a lot of micromanagement. For a lot of workers, that's a great thing, but for those that require constant direction, that can be tough. Otherwise, the biggest con is the fact that Washington and Lincoln is ALWAYS a traffic nightmare.
