Pros
Largest software customer base in their space. Very loyal and hard working employees.
Cons
A couple years ago new ownership brought in new CEO to push the company to grow 40% per year versus the 10% achieved prior years. The recruited Jamie Coffin, ex Dell and IBM executive where the divisions he worked for grew very fast, and he brought on 20 something Dell employees in newly created positions. They formulated a vey good strategic plan to grow the business. However, the execution of the plan was very lacking. They got rid of many of the longer term employees in sales, product, and service who had industry knowledge and more importantly had great relationships with clients. Jamie and the team he brought in had neither and instead of augmenting the company with good existing employees with his potentially talented new team, he got rid of employees in a very unprofessional manner including several who were contacted during vacations that they were let go. Jamie's style is not that of a CEO including demeaning employees in public including using slur words. If you are a client or a prospect, think twice about whether commitments can be met by Jamie. If you are a partner, reconsider whether you want to work with people like this. If you are an employee, find a better company that values individuals and rewards good results, not managing by fear. Most importantly, if you are a company owner, you shouldn't let Jamie come close to your company or he might destroy it like he destroyed Source Medical by having the owners forced to move parts of the company under different management. Don't make your money cry!
