Pros

- hires laid-off people - focused on new tech trends

Cons

You should only join sourcebits if you are job less. I suggest you to join them and continue your job search and try to move on in the next 6 months. - no job security. No policy behind probation period. You can ask to leave with 1 month notice even after 9-10 months of joining - doesn't tolerate benching people more than 2 weeks, they will ask to leave. - Ascendum is not an IT solution company but a consulting company. The projects are running from Sourcebits only. - Ascendum has few of its products and all are flop. They periodically advertise them on their LinkedIn page. - You will hear about few big names there like toyota, sony tv, big basket but few of them either in big loss or very less profitable with a small team size of 5-6 people. - Arrogant senior management from sales and HR who focus on delivery rather their own work. - from years sales team could not bring any big project. - no training opportunities. - Health insurance 2 lac only. - no reallocation reimbursement for outsiders - no reimbursement policies. - salary appraisal is min 1% and max 8%. Mostly it is near 2-3%. - WFH strictly no allowed even during peak covid time teams are forced to be there in the office.

Pros

Leadership is strong, a tight nit group, work with some of the newest+coolest bay area startups. Competitive renumeration. Everyone at Sourcebits I've worked with is invested in success of the company and individuals. Cool people to work with, open and flexible culture, without the "ra-ra" crap that comes with other tech companies. Recently acquired, so good access to resources and true commitment to growth.

Cons

Like any service based company, there are peaks and valleys. A lot of work is project-based, so there are deadlines for things. Recently acquired, so there's still some positioning occurring.
