I joined Sourceful as a Product Manager, but took on some responsibilities as a Software Engineer due to my CS background and started building the tech stack from scratch with the support of the rest of the team. As the department and company grew, I challenged myself to become an Engineering Manager and the exec team and the other engineers were happy to support me on my journey. Some of the things I love about Sourceful that helped me grow along the road are: - Amazing culture with exec team working hard to maintain it with growth - Friendly team, no big egos and many helpful hands - Loads of growth opportunities - Flexibility is part of everyday life: the business not only promotes remote working and flexible hours but supports individuals with their needs
Cons
- The startup life is truly present still: hectic days and rapidly changing priorities are part of everyday life, which is an environment only some thrive in. If this is your thing though (like me!), it is exhilarating
